Our name contains all that we are, so it would make sense to start here. So why are we named Ethereal Current?
Everything carries a frequency. That's where current started, not as a metaphor but as a fact I kept coming back to. Stone, breath, water, the moment right before something changes. All of it moving. All of it energy in motion. I wanted a name that held that truth plainly, without dressing it up.
But a current isn't just something that exists out there, separate from us. We're in it. All of us, always connected to the same underlying movement. The same pull that runs through stone and breath and season. What changes isn't whether we're connected to it. It's how close we're standing.
Some days you're right in it: aligned, moving with it instead of against it. Other days you drift, caught up in noise, distance, the pace of everything else, and the current feels far off like something you used to know. That's not failure. It's just where you are on your path. Like waves, we're always in motion: pulled in, pushed back out, never fixed in one place for long. The current doesn't stop when we drift from it. It's still there, still moving, waiting for us to come back into rhythm with it.
Ethereal came as the softer, quiet, mystic edge that current alone didn't quite say. The ethereal current we reference is that pull toward alignment we all feel, just beneath the surface of things if you slow down enough to notice it again.
